Myanmar Seventh~day Adventist Church

The celebration to honor the retired ministers of Adventist Church in Myanmar was held at Joon Hyun Yoo Chapel on the Sabbath of March 20, 2010 in Myaungmya, Ayeyarwaddy division.

 It was attended by the Myanmar Adventist church president Pr. Muller Kyaw, Officials and Departmental directors of Adventist Church in Myanmar. The 32 retired ministers were present on the occasion.

The Secretary of ministerial Association in Myanmar Pr. Caleb Paw presented the honoring message. The Officers of the church in Myanmar presented the honor award to all the retired ministers. (MYUM Communication)

The celebration of 50^th Anniversary Jubilee was held at Myanmar Union Adventist Seminary (MUAS), Myaungmya, Ayeyarwaddy division on March 21, 2010.

 The only Myanmar Adventist higher learning institute which was established as elementary school in 1960 and it turns to her 50^th anniversary in this year 2010. It produced more than 1400 graduates who received Adventist education since 1960. There are more than 1000 audience attended to the Jubilee celebration and participated with joy.

 The ceremony of marking the 50^th Jubilee was organized at the Jubilee ground which was especially built for the occasion. On the ceremony the former board chairmen of the institutes, the former Presidents and administrators of the institutes were honored by presenting award of commitment to the Seminary.

 The 50^th Jubilee plaque of MUAS was unveiled by 2 former presidents of the institute namely Pr. Herbert Sein and Pr. Yan Aye. It was recorded all the names of those who dedicated services to the institute from 1960 onward.

 “It has now been 50 years passed in this place with God’s grace and protection. We are doing the best we can” said Pr. Muller Kyaw in his address. (MYUM Communication)

The stewardship training seminars were held in Hpa-an, Kayin state of 180 miles far eastern part of the country and Pathein, Ayeyarwaddy division of 120 miles far Western part of Myanmar on February 3-11, 2010 respectively.

 The stewardship director of Adventist Church in Myanmar, Pr. Caleb Paw has led out the long trip to East and West of Myanmar along with Pr. W. Mandolang who was the resource person for the seminars. (MYUM Communication)
