<p>The resource person from Church headquarters of Southern Asia Pacific Region  were distinguished attendees in the seminar.</p>

<p>The Adventist church in Myanmar holds its LEAD training Seminar on March 11-13,2013 at Ayeyarwaddy Adventist Seminary campus, Myaungmya. The resource persons including Pastor Alberto Gulfan Jr. and party took the various lectures series to enhance the technical know-how of the church leadership in Myanmar.</p>
<p>This has been conducting in Myanmar Adventist church since many years and it really helped the leaders to utilize their knowledge in respective fields.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Seventh-day Adventist church conducted Religious Liberty Sabbath, organized activities and awareness in many churches of Myanmar on January 26, 2013 respectively.</p>
<p>This is the first experience of the Myanmar Adventist church’s awareness and interest in religious liberty and sermons preached in different parts of the country.</p>
<p>Myanmar reformed government is now freeing country media and public voice as it is appropriate time for to church to explore the possibility of religious liberty movement in Myanmar.</p>
<p>Speaking to the church administration, Pr. Min Lwin, the chairperson of PARL committee of Myanmar Adventist church expressed his personal thought about religious liberty activities should be implemented in Myanmar in order to create the favorable image of the church to the public. He involved in taking religious liberty sermon, preached in Yangon Central church on the January 26, 2013 Sabbath with more than 400 church attendees.</p>
<p>Many preachers had delivered their Religious Liberty Sermons on the Sabbath, which marked as Religious Liberty Sabbath obviously 2 officials have also visited to Taungoo and Mandalay churches to preach that sermon.</p>
<p>The only higher learning institute in Myanmar Adventist church namely Myanmar Union Adventist Seminary (MUAS) has conducted the lecture series on Human rights and religious liberty. On January 24, 2013, the resource persons U Chan Nyein Aung, President of COM and Human Right Specialist Daw Nway Nway Tun of a leadership development-training center took part in lecture series related to Religious Liberty and Human Rights.</p>

The result and announcement has come out in January 16, 2013 and the writer is receiving an honoring certificate and cash award. The Bible Society Myanmar organized the writing contest titled “Revived by the word” which is familiar to the Adventist church 2012 theme “Revived by His word”.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Myanmar Adventist church held its Year End meeting 2012 on December 3-6, 2012 in Central Myanmar Mission headquarters, Taung Goo.</p>
<p>More than 100 representatives from the respective local missions and union headquarters attended the meeting interestingly. This was the first time holding union-wide meeting in local mission headquarters.</p>
<p>The meeting began with the spiritual encouragement for revival of the church. All the delegates have been involved in the church reformed activities as regard to the growth of the Christian experience.</p>
<p>&#8220;This is the end time of the world. We, the Adventist church members are to revive and rededicate our lives to God.&#8221; said by Pr. Memory Tun, the president of the church in Myanmar.</p>
<p>The layman delegate from South East Myanmar mission Saw Samuel Hlaing stated that &#8220;The church has been growing in Myanmar in spite of all difficulties and hazard.&#8221; My interest to His works become more and more as the church members are actively participating in various church activities.</p>
<p>&#8220;I am so glad to see my old school mates who are working different parts of the country&#8221;. concluded Pr. Han Sein, the alumni of Missionary Training course in Myaungmya.</p>

<p>The Adventist church-based organizations ADRA Myanmar and ACS have been included in the leading role of this REDD+ activities from the beginning of the Myanmar initiative. The government has set clear working strategy on Public and Private Partnership in Myanmar to implement the development programs of the country in the process of change.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The inspired experience of mass baptism in South East Myanmar Adventist church reaping evangelistic meeting of Hpa-an, the capital of Kayin state won 69 souls to the God on September 23-30, 2012. The area located about 200 miles away from the capital Yangon and 100 miles away from border of Thailand west region.</p>

<p>It was witnessed and honored by the Executive Secretary of the Adventist church in Southern Asia Pacific Region Pr. Saw Samuel, his counterparts of Myanmar Adventist church, the ministerial secretary of Adventist church in Myanmar Pr. Shine Tha, more than 500 church members from various places of local mission. The team conducted series of meeting in different places Hpa-an and Adventist Seminary in Yay Bu village.</p>

<p>The region of South East Myanmar Adventist mission has been the most difficult area to evangelize due to the security and religious influence of Non-believer. The arm group of anti Christian is also existed for more than 20 years. The public evangelistic meetings were not conducted for many years. Due to the conflicts, Adventist church could not developed much in order to extend the work of God.</p>
<p>In the history of Adventist work in Myanmar it proved that the area had well set up of Adventist missionary work by pioneer missionary to Myanmar Eric B Hare in 40s and 50s. It has come to the conflicted time during 90s and the missionary school was destroyed and closed down. It moved to the new place where the Adventist church rebuilt South East Mission Adventist Seminary in Yay Bu village, Hlaing Bwe Township.</p>
