The second day of Myanmar Adventist Church Union wide 7th Convention continued in UMAS compound today March 29, 2012. The morning devotion was taken by Saya Suan Sawm Sang, who is presently serving as AWR Chin program producer.
The text based on the Revelation 14, emphasized on the Remnant church which we all believed that is Seventh – day Adventist church. The witnessing program was taken up by several delegates from respective places ofMyanmar.
Pr. Saw Samuel, the Executive Secretary of Adventist Church in Southern Asia Pacific Region took a period sharing spiritual message to the delegates.
“This is a great blessing for me to be with my countrymen to share with the blessed message” included in his training session.
The show rooms prepared by several departments and local missions were interestingly viewed by delegates in the afternoon break.
The Publishing ministries department head Pr. Maung Maung Htay, Education department head Pr. Kelly P Lyan, Stewardship department head Pr. Khai Kam Khual, Sabbath School department head Pr. Stanley Chit and Pr. Shine Tha of Ministerial Secretary presented their presentations regarding their departmental activities and plan.
The retired ministers were also honored by presenting special award today.
“The program becomes interesting day by day and I felt the Holy Spirit is descending upon us” a delegate said.
The evening worship was conducted in convention hall of UMAS, Kalaymyo. Elder J A Adap,the Associate Treasurer of SSD spoke about 7 blessings of accepting Christ as personal savior. The spirit filled sermon drew the convention audience to rededicate their lives in Christ.
The night program ended up with the action song presentation from respective youth group and students.
“I am still not enough to hear the word of God in this convention” said a youth from SEM.
