The basic radio production training for seminary students were conducted by AWR Myanmar on November 27-28, 2011 at Myanmar Union Adventist Seminary (MUAS), Myaungmya, Myanmar. The 35 students have attended the training and it made them to deepen their interest to the media evangelism. The students who belong to different ethnic groups such as Kachin, Chin, Falam Chin, Kami, Pwo Kayin, Sgaw Kayin and Asho Chin were involved in the training.
Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) Myanmar has also sent their communication personnel to attend the training as the agency is being involved in AWR Myanmar future FM broadcast.
In the opening day, the chairman of AWR Myanmar, Pr. Min Lwin has delivered an opening address. He stated that “media plays the vital role in present communication scenario. The Adventist church in Myanmar is developing radio, internet and TV evangelism in order to spread the gospel to un-reached people of Myanmar.” (MYUM Communication)
